Prof. Kato Awarded Grant To Study D.C. Food Growers
On October 27, 2021, Prof. Yuki Kato was awarded a grant worth $68,561 by the trustees of the Jessie Ball duPont Religious, Charitable and Educational Fund. The purpose of the funding is to conduct a study to document the hurdles urban growers face accessing resources in Washington, DC and identify ways to enhance and improve equity in who gets to grow food in the city.
