Brian J McCabe, Ph.D.
Dr. Brian J. McCabe is a Professor and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Sociology. He holds an affiliated appointment in the McCourt School of Public Policy. He is a scholar of urban inequality, housing, and public policy.

Yuki Kato, Ph.D.
Dr. Yuki Kato is an urban sociologist whose research interests intersect the subfields of social stratification, food and environmental justice, culture and consumption, and symbolic interaction. She has conducted research on the rise of urban agriculture and the alternative food movement in post-Katrina New Orleans, with a particular focus on food access disparities, the spatial and social landscape of alternative food activism, and the contested meanings of local during a major urban transformation.

Carla Shedd, Ph.D
Dr. Carla Shedd is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University whose research and teaching focus on: race and ethnicity, criminalization and criminal justice, education, law, social inequality, and urban policy.

Dr. Kristin L. Perkins is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at Georgetown University. Kristin studies inequality and social stratification with a focus on children, families, and neighborhoods.
